Gentlemen,

          Our final event of the season. At Boone Hall plantation in SC. is now a fading memory. As are most of this past seasons events.

 It was good to see a resonable turnout. With some 'old' friends from the 25th NC? we were able to field our own company.

 As the saying goes in the reenacting community. The events battle was the same sh-- different weekend. Although for once I believe the Union troops did keep close to the scripted battle. Unlike our enemies cavalry. Who thought it was neat to ride around a couple of Union infantry groups like a band of wild 'injun's'.

  Guess they don't have the sense to realise they would have been shot from their saddles before they got anywhere near the infantry???

 Guess its time to start thinking about a new year and season of re-enacting. Well maybees it can wait until after Christmas.
