Commanders corner

Gentlemen,

When life kicks up unwelcomed challenges. Normally one would. Adapt, Compromise and then overcome them. Well thats what I had always been led to believe. Not turn your back and run away.

It seems. I must have been the only one around. To pick up on that piece of advice. As events over the weekend of 18th & 19th of July have transpired within our reenactment group.

I feel somewhat dissapointed in what appears to be. The inability of members to be able to come face to face with me and discuss unit issues or perceived problems. That may have occured over a weekends event. That they are corcerned with. Away from the actual reenactment weekend.

On this matter. A Certain individual. Who became upset with words said. In the context of a mid. 19th century soldier. Appears to have stirred up a nest of resentment against me personally.

This has led to me sending out a post to individuals interested in reenacting with this company. To attempt to clarify the companies situation.

I hope you will take a little time to reply. In which ever way you feel for you is right.

Thank you

HUZZA!!!!!

If you're interested in Civil War living history events and would like to come out and try it someday, contact us through our guest book.

We'll be happy to lend you a uniform and you can march out onto the battlefield with us.

We sleep in canvas tents and cook over an open fire. Doesn't that sound fun.

It's great to get away from the 21st century.

Typically, we have one event every month. You're more than welcome to come out and try it to see if you like it.

Please enjoy your stay, and, don't forget to check out our guestbook and calender to the right.....>
