Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have to congratulate those of you who were able to attend this event in support of the musicians.

I believe all of us in attendance came away with a better understanding of the important roll our musicians. Of whatever age they may be.

Other knowledge and skills learned. Were on the duties of camp provost / guard requirements. Cpl. Fulton did a 6 hour turn Friday night as cpl. of the guard and everyone else had a chance at guard duty.

A worthwhile journey for a very different reenacting / living history experience. Everyone should give an event like this at least one try.

On a final note. We were extremely well looked after in this garrison style encampment. Being fed a total of five wonderful meals. If we had come away from the weekend with nothing else. At the very least we came away a little heavier.

Next event for youz guys is the living history / recruiting venue at Latta Plantation.

Then I will hopefully see you at Gettysburg.
